This past weekend I tried Peruvian food at LOS BALCONES in Hollywood. I got the recommendation from a friend, and I must say it is FANTASTIC! I should have tried something new, but I wanted to compare the same dish that I got at another Peruvian restaurant. This one was just as great. The only thing I found missing was the sauce that I had before. But in any case, just as good. Perfectly grilled chicken with over-easy egg on top and fries underneath, delicious plantains, yummy dressing on the salad, and perfect rice. I'd go back here again, that's for sure. Plus, it's way closer to me than EL ROCOTO over in Cerritos.
The portions are generous. I couldn't finish my whole plate. And I left satisfied. Mhmmm, so good.
